I can help you find the ideal home in an East Cobb New Home Development

East Cobb New Homes For Sale

East Cobb builder activity, is and has always been driven by East Cobb’s excellent schools especially the top three public high schools: Walton, Lassiter, and Pope.

As a local East Cobb Broker/Owner and East Cobb resident, I stay on top of all new construction activity from the zoning and permitting stages to the start of a new development and can help you find the ideal home, and get a jump on other buyers who are often not aware of when new developments are coming to market. I also help people find existing new homes that are not yet listed in MLS or Zillow.

As a Broker who is also an ICC Code Certified Building Inspector and New Home Construction Expert, I can guide you through the process of buying or building new construction in ways regular agents and realtors simply can not. I use my extra experience and qualifications to make it a pain free process from start to finish. I serve not just as your Buyers Broker, but as an Advocate and Adviser on selection choices, changes, and any unforeseen construction problems or alterations to help assure these things are done right, go as smoothly and on schedule as possible, and that the builder treats you right and delivers the home you deserve! I am an expert at reviewing custom builder contracts and advising you on necessary changes to level the playing field, and reduce your risks – and you have many risks with new construction homes – even completed homes.

Be sure to see my New Home Builder Bonuses page where I track information about various purchaser incentives being offer in new home subdivisions in East Cobb and all over Greater North Atlanta.

If you’re interested in buying a new home to be built and want to reserve a nice “build-able” lot contact me to help you pick out the best lot in the neighborhood of your choice while they are still available!

East Cobb High School SAT Scores

East Cobb High School SAT Scores

East Cobb High School SAT Scores led all Cobb County Schools in 2019! The Cobb County School District released 2019 Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores on Tuesday, and four East Cobb high schools lead the way in 2019.

Walton High (1,288), Pope High  (1,220) and Lassiter High (1,212) the perennial East Cobb favorites which consistently rank the highest all had average class wide scores exceeding 1,200, while Wheeler High (1,196) came close. While all these schools are excellent, it is important to check into a schools programs and not just focus on the highest test scores (especially when they are so close) to assure a good fit for your student as each school will differ somewhat in educational style and special programs offered.

Wheeler’s jump of 49 points was the highest of the 16 high schools in the Cobb County School District.

“Wheeler continues to focus on providing the best overall learning experience for ALL students,” Wheeler Principal Paul Gillihan said in a statement issued by the school district.

“We strongly believe that SAT scores do not define our students nor our school but only provide evidence of the work that is being done daily to prepare our students for college and careers.”

Walton’s score is up 20 points from 2018. Full district scores and details can be found here.
